Responsible Recycling

Improperly disposed electronics leach toxins into the soil, contaminate water supplies, and can result in state and federal fines, cleanup costs, and loss of business because of negative public opinion. When disposition is not a choice, companies often store equipment, but storing equipment that will never be used again is often a greater expense than proper disposition.

Ascendtech is committed to the management of a strong and scalable eCycling solution. Our stewardship for the environment includes our eCycling Covenant, downstream partner management, and reputation as a company of highest integrity.

Ascendtech’s comprehensive solutions help businesses protect the environment and their communities and comply with environmental regulations. We demanufacture and recycle 100 percent of unusable assets. The demanufactured assets are separated and sorted by primary materials, plastic, aluminum, copper, and circuit boards, among other categories. These separated components are sent to downstream processors where they are used to generate commodity-grade materials.

Ascendtech complies with all applicable federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations, including the Solid Waste Disposal Act; the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA); and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA).

Our downstream recycling processors are industry leaders who process all electronic components in accordance with our contractual requirements and in compliance with U.S. trade bans.
