Amd Threadripper Engineering Workstation

Designed for advanced CAD/CAM workflows, complex engineering design, 3D modeling, and professional visualization, the AMD Threadripper Engineering Workstation provides a powerful platform for engineers, designers, architects, developers, and technical professionals. Combining a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor with the NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell professional graphics card and 24GB of GDDR7 ECC video memory, this system delivers substantial computing resources for demanding design and engineering applications. It is well suited for precision CAD modeling, mechanical engineering, working with complex 3D assemblies, GPU-accelerated visualization, engineering calculations, and rendering tasks in compatible professional software. The professional NVIDIA graphics architecture and expanded GPU memory capacity support detailed 3D models, graphics-intensive design projects, and demanding visualization workflows, while the 24-core processor provides processing resources for computational tasks, compatible engineering simulations, CPU-based rendering, software development, and intensive multitasking. With 128GB of DDR5 ECC registered system memory, the workstation offers additional capacity for large engineering projects, complex datasets, and memory-intensive applications. Beyond traditional CAD/CAM workflows, this system also supports compatible AI-assisted design tools, selected local AI models, machine learning experimentation, and GPU-accelerated AI inference when the software and workload requirements fit the available hardware.

The system is built around the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard and powered by the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X 24-Core Processor, featuring a 4.2GHz base clock. The configuration includes 128GB of DDR5 ECC registered server memory, two high-speed 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs providing 4TB of total storage capacity, and the PNY NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell professional graphics card featuring 24GB of GDDR7 ECC video memory and four DisplayPort outputs. The processor is cooled by an sTR5-compatible 360mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with three 120mm fans and thermal compound, selected to meet the processor's cooling requirements. Power is supplied by a 1000W Power Supply Unit. All components are installed inside the Fractal Design Define 7 XL Full Tower Case, which offers a spacious modular interior, sound-dampened construction, flexible cooling options, and room for future hardware upgrades. Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 64-Bit comes pre-installed, providing a professional operating environment for CAD/CAM applications, engineering design, 3D modeling, professional visualization, software development, and compatible AI-powered tools.

The CAD/CAM Workstation configurator provides flexible customization options for advanced engineering design, complex 3D modeling, professional visualization, and computational applications. Increase the DDR5 ECC registered memory capacity to support larger assemblies, demanding engineering projects, intensive multitasking, and memory-intensive simulations, expand NVMe storage for CAD/CAM files, 3D models, design libraries, simulation data, and project files, or choose from other available processors, professional graphics cards, cooling solutions, and hardware upgrades. From developing complex mechanical designs and managing detailed 3D assemblies to performing compatible engineering simulations, rendering professional visualizations, and exploring AI-assisted design workflows, you can configure this workstation to meet your specific performance requirements, software needs, project complexity, and budget.
