Description

Dell HG526 USB Server Interface Pod (SIP) Cable Kit for 2161DS or 2161AS. The USB SIP allows you to remotely control a server over standard Cat 5 lines. It plugs directly into the Dell 2161DS or 2161AS Console Switch and converts the keyboard, monitor, and mouse signals from a server and drives them through a single CAT5 cable, eliminating the typical KVM cable management headaches. The USB SIP draws its power from the server and has a 'Keep Alive' capability that is designed to keep your server working properly with or without connectivity to the KVM switch.
